Penguin Encounter: What to Know Before You Go

Ready to waddle into something unforgettable? Our penguin encounter is a hands-on, up-close experience with some of the coolest birds around!

The Basics:

  • Ages 5+ only
  • Ages 5–16 must bring a paying adult (18+)
  • $50 per person (general admission required)
  • 6 guests per session
  • Arrive 30 minutes early to check in
  • Waiver required

What to Expect:
You’ll spend about 30 minutes meeting, playing with, and learning all about our penguins from their caretakers.

A Few Friendly Rules:

  • Closed-toe shoes = best choice
  • You might get splashed or a little messy (worth it!)
  • Penguins eat fish—shellfish allergies? It’s best to sit this one out
  • Leave shiny and reflective items behind (our penguins are curious!)
  • Feeling under the weather? Come back another day—our animals will thank you!
  • Our penguins come first! Encounters may occasionally be unavailable—thanks for understanding.

This place showcases animals for everyone (young and old) and also offers a reasonable fee to actually feed them as well! From sea turtles to sharks, wolves, dingos, snakes, frogs, birds and even spunky lemurs! They even offer a 9-hole black-light mini-golf because...why not?! Lots of fun and view at your own pace."

"Absolutely awesome experience! Touch tanks, playing and feeding lemurs, feeding sharks and gators, and playing with dingos! We unfortunately came on a day where the dingos were resting, but they were still adorable! Big cats, small fish, everything you could want! Definitely recommend!"

"Totally amazing place! A must see, fun for the whole family and very reasonably priced. We fed the stingrays and the sharks, extra charge but worth it for the experience. My son loved seeing the kangaroo jump. Artic Fox was so beautiful. Staff was helpful and would tell you all about animals and fish."

"I loved this place! I've been here twice already. The staff members were super friendly and informative and the place just looked great in general. I love how they decorated. My little nephew enjoyed it too. I love the little doctor fish and how they nibble at your finger. Such a great experience!"

We also added on black light mini golf and it was fun too! Affordable price, fun interactions! Staff was great, we will definitely be back in the summer."
